Dr. J.S.Senthil kumaar completed his BE from University of Madras, ME from Madras Institute of Technology and Ph.D. from Regional Engineering College (Trichy), Anna University. He has immense experience of 30 years in industry and academics as well as administration. He is a resource person for various academic institutions and serving as a member of many committees. He has impressive academic credentials in Research & Development, industry-institute linkage and consultancies. He has been guided 10 PhDs in various domain of Mechanical Engineering from Anna University Chennai.
Dr. J.S.Senthil kumaar has successfully completed many academic and consultancy projects under his supervision. He has authored 60 research papers in National and International Journals, participated several Faculty Development Programmes and honoured by MOOC certification from NPTEL, COURSERA and Udemy. He is an active reviewer and advisory board member for various National and International Journals.

Their valuable service in providing Quality technical education to the backward rural area is proving the social cause of running this institution.
The more number of girls enrollment in PSR group of Institution for various technical programmes ensure disciplined, safe, and conducive environment in the campus. To offer more opportunities to the upliftment of the women education, P.S.R.Rengasamy College of Engineering for Women was started in the year 2008.
