Admission UG - PSR

B.E/B.Tech

Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the HSC (+2) examination conducted by the state and through counselling (TNEA) conducted by DIRECTORATE OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION (DoTE), Government of Tamil Nadu , selected candidates are allotted to various colleges for admission. Candidates may also appear directly for admission to the College under Management Quota. Admission forms may be obtained from the College office.

Fees Structure

Eligibility

The candidate should have passed the HSC (Academic / Vocational with Mathematics and Basic Mechanical Engineering / Basic Electrical Engineering / Basic Electronics Engineering / Basic Civil Engineering / Basic Automobile Engineering / Textile Technology) of Tamil Nadu or an equivalent examination recognized by Anna University with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. For Lateral Entry (direct admission to second year), the Candidate should have passed the Diploma Examination in Engineering / Technology of the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu or an equivalent examination.

M.E / MBA

Candidates for the admission to the first semester of the Master's Degree Programme shall be required to have passed an appropriate U.G degree examination of Anna University or any other examination of any University or authority accepted by the Syndicate of Anna University as equivalent thereto.

Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the common entrance examination (TANCET) conducted by the state and selected candidates are allotted to various colleges for admission. Details regarding the entrance examination are published in the newspapers well in advance every year. Candidates may also appear directly for admission to the College under Management Quota. Appearing for entrance examination for these seats is a must and this entrance examination is conducted by the college on its campus. Admission forms may be obtained from the College office.

Eligibility

Community Scholarship • BC / BCM / MBC / DNC candidates admitted through SWS with Parent Annual Income should not exceed Rs. 2,50,000/-
Post-Matric Scholarship

• SC / SCA / ST candidates admitted through SWS & MQ with Parent Annual Income should not exceed Rs. 2,50,000/-

• For converted Christian, Parent Annual Income should not exceed Rs. 2,00,000/-
First Generation Graduate (FGG) Scholarship

• Students must get admission through TNEA counseling.

• Application must have a Domicile Certificate of Tamil Nadu.

• Applicant must belong to a family where no member is a graduate

• Applicant must belong to a family where no family income limit.
7.5% Special Reservation • Students studied from Tamil Nadu Government Schools from 6th Standard to 12th Standard and got admitted in 7.5% special reservation in Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission
