VISION

    • The vision of the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department is to produce graduates with sound knowledge for the betterment of society and to meet the dynamic demands of industry and research.

MISSION

    • Offering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes by providing effective and balanced curriculum and equip themselves to gear up to the ethical challenges awaiting them.
    • Providing the technical, research and intellectual resources that will enable the students to have a successful career in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
    • Providing need based training and professional skills to satisfy the needs of society and industry.

PROGRAMME OUTCOMES (PO’s)

    • PO1: An ability to independently carry out and solve practical problems in the key areas of Applied Electronics.

    • PO2: Design solutions for complex engineering problems with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

    • PO3: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.

    • PO4: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.

    • PO5: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools to analyze problems.

    • PO6: Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.

PROGRAMME SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSO’s)

    • PSO1: Design, simulate and analyze diverse problems in the field of Applied Electronics.

    • PSO2: Solve problems in the Mixed Logic circuits , Chip Level Design, Embedded System, IOT and Artificial Intelligence with competence in modern tool usage.

    • PSO3: Apply signal and image processing techniques to analyze a system for machine learning applications.

    • PSO4: Graduates will have a broad understanding of economical, environmental, societal and health involved in infrastructural development and ability to function within multidisciplinary teams.
